Introduction to RF Antennas used in Reliance jio Installation project
Introduction to RF Antennas, RET:
Jio uses the equipments of Samsung company and is manufactured in korea. There are two different type of brands of Antennas:
- Ace
- Rosenberger
- Single Band
- Multi Band
- Penta Band
Single Band:
In Single Band the antenna is used only for one frequency band and that is only for 850Mhz, but the port order varies. .
Multi Band:
In Multi Band the antenna is used only for two frequency bands and that is 1.8Ghz & 2.3Ghz but port order varies.
Penta Band:
In Penta Band the antenna is used for all three frequency bands and that is 850Mhz, 1.8Ghz & 2.3Ghz but port order varies.
There are 3 Frequency Bands:
- 850 Mhz (2G)
- 1800 Mhz (3G)
- 2300 Mhz (4G)
Ace Antennas:
SINGLE BAND (850Mhz)
MULTI BAND (1.8Ghz & 2.3Ghz)
Rosenberger Antennas:
SINGLE BAND (850Mhz)
MULTI BAND (1.8Ghz & 2.3Ghz)
RET ( Remote Electrical Tilt):
There are two ways to tilt the antenna:
There are two ways to tilt the antenna:
- Mechanical Tilt - The coverage area is increased in side direction but reduced in central direction.
- Electrical Tilt - The coverage area suffers a uniform reducation in the direction of antenna azimuth, the gain is also reduced uniformly.
